FAQ

Common questions, straight answers.

What Safegram is, what it costs, how private it is, and how identity, moderation and ads work.

The basics

What is Safegram?

Safegram.io is a social network built around ownership: you can post, follow people, join groups and message privately, and everything you create can be exported whenever you want it. It is made by RWA Global Inc.

Is Safegram free?

Yes. Creating an account and using the feed, messenger, groups, jobs and events is free. Optional paid Premium plans are being introduced; nothing you already use for free is moved behind them.

What can I do on Safegram?

Post text, photos, polls and quote posts; choose who can reply; schedule posts; follow people and build a professional network; chat one-to-one or in groups and channels; join communities; browse and post jobs; publish articles and newsletters; and create events.

Do I need crypto or a wallet to use Safegram?

No. Safegram works like any other social network with an email address and password. Reward programs that use tokens are optional.

Privacy and security

Are Safegram messages end-to-end encrypted?

Not yet. Messages are encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and only the people in a conversation can open it through the app, but they are stored on our servers in a form we could technically read. True end-to-end encryption is on the roadmap, and we will say so clearly when it ships.

How is my password protected?

Passwords are never stored in readable form; we keep only a salted bcrypt hash. Repeated failed sign-ins are rate limited, and changing or resetting your password signs out every other session.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Settings lets you download your profile, posts, comments, notes, connections and the people you follow as a JSON file, and delete your account. Deleting your account removes your posts, messages, connections and uploaded files.

Who can see my ID documents if I verify my account?

Only you and the small Safegram Trust Desk team. Verification documents are stored separately from public uploads, are never cached, and are deleted with your account.

Identity and verification

What is the RWA UserChain ID?

It is a cryptographic identifier derived from your handle with a public formula, so anyone can recompute and check it without trusting our servers. It is not recorded on a blockchain today; on-chain anchoring is on the roadmap.

What do the RWA INC tier badges mean?

They show how much identity information an account has provided: Tier 1 adds a legal name, country and date of birth; Tier 2 adds an ID document and selfie; Tier 3 adds an entity and accreditation attestation. Verification is currently self-serve, not a third-party background check.

Moderation and ads

Does Safegram shadow-ban people?

No. When we restrict content or an account we tell the person what rule was broken and how to appeal. Moderation follows our published Community Guidelines and applicable law.

How do ads work on Safegram?

Every advertiser goes through the Trust Desk: identity and business checks, domain verification, a payout identity match and an automated scan of each ad, with human review for sensitive categories like finance or politics. A public ledger lists who is advertising.

Are airdrops and content rewards investments?

No. They are optional incentive programs that can change or end at any time and may have eligibility rules or tax implications where you live. Nothing on Safegram is an offer to buy or sell a security.

Your network. Your rules.

Safegram is a social networking platform, not a financial institution, broker-dealer or custodian. Your RWA UserChain ID is a cryptographic identifier you can verify yourself; it is not recorded on a public blockchain today. Nothing on Safegram is a security, deposit or investment product.

Messages are encrypted in transit and access-controlled by account; end-to-end encryption is on our roadmap, not live yet. No system is immune to every attack; your own device, password and recovery email matter too. Safegram complies with valid legal process and applicable law.

Airdrops and content rewards are optional incentive programs. They may change, pause or end at any time, may carry eligibility requirements, and may have tax implications where you live.
